Beautiful VTV presenter passes away at age 29 due to leukemia.

The first mentor who guided Dieu Linh into the world of professional MCing shared that she passed away at Bach Mai Hospital. Her family and workplace will hold a funeral for the female MC at Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi).

MC Dieu Linh suffers from chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a type of chronic blood cancer. Most people with this disease belong to the low-malignancy group and experience slow progression. However, MC Dieu Linh is a case belonging to the high-malignancy group, meaning the disease is progressing rapidly.

For the past two years, MC Dieu Linh has been undergoing treatment at the National Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, but she hasn't had to be hospitalized often. However, more than a month ago, she showed signs of deterioration, and doctors requested her hospitalization, with a high probability of needing a bone marrow transplant.

While hospitalized, MC Dieu Linh shared on her personal page that she suspected she was teething, but this was actually a sign of cancer metastasizing to her brain, causing her severe pain. On the morning of June 11th, the female MC had to be transferred to Bach Mai Hospital and placed in a special isolation ward due to her rapidly deteriorating condition.

While still alive and after discovering her illness, Dieu Linh shared that she didn't want to publicize her condition; only her family and colleagues knew. The leaders at VTVcab, where she worked, were very supportive, allowing Dieu Linh to work and earn money while receiving treatment. However, less than a month ago, while hospitalized, MC Dieu Linh decided to share her story.

“Two years ago, when I received the bad news, I was very shaken. I was very healthy; from childhood until I was 27, I never had any illnesses or diseases. However, for a while, I often had rashes and allergies, but they would go away. I still thought it was just a common allergy. I even had a blood test at a private hospital, and the results were normal.”

"But then I developed many swollen lymph nodes in my neck that weren't painful. Feeling uneasy, I went to the doctor with my best friend. The doctor said I needed to go to the National Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital for further testing. At that time, I felt a little apprehensive but remained optimistic, thinking that cancer would surely spare me. After finishing the tests at the hospital, my friend and I even went for ice cream. I was very happy until I hadn't even finished my ice cream when I received the news from the doctor. It was truly like something out of a movie; the doctor analyzed the unusual components in my blood instead of directly giving a diagnosis," MC Dieu Linh shared.

MC Dieu Linh passed away at the age of 29.

For the past two years, Dieu Linh has tried to balance work and dedicate time to herself and her family. She says that it was only when she got sick that she realized how much she loved herself. She only hopes that her illness will remain stable, that she can take her medication and live with it.

MC Dieu Linh, born in 1991, graduated with a degree in General Business Administration from the National Economics University in Hanoi, but found her calling in television. Before becoming a sports MC, Dieu Linh tried her hand in many other fields such as culture, entertainment, and fashion.
