Female thief snatches numerous necklaces at fair.
Taking advantage of the crowded fair, the female thief pushed her way through the crowd and snatched necklaces. At the time of her arrest, she had a total of five necklaces.
On the afternoon of January 8th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Binh Minh town police (Vinh Long province) issued a decision to prosecute and detain Dang Thi Thanh Tuyen (20 years old, residing in My Long ward, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province) for 3 months for the crime of robbery.

Earlier, at 6:30 PM on December 27, 2018, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (32 years old, residing in Nguyen Van Thanh commune, Binh Tan district) and his wife were shopping at the Industrial, Agricultural, and Commercial Fair on 3 Thang 2 Street (Cai Von ward, Binh Minh town) when several individuals jostled and snatched the necklace from his wife's neck.
Mr. Minh immediately shouted and chased after the thief. The Criminal Police Team of Binh Minh Town Police, who were on duty at the fair, arrived and coordinated to arrest the suspect.
At the scene, the police discovered and seized five gold necklaces, including one belonging to Mr. Minh's wife, and took the suspect to the police station for questioning.
At the police station, the suspect identified herself as Dang Thi Thanh Tuyen and admitted to her crimes. Taking advantage of the large crowds at the fair, Tuyen blended into the crowd and committed the aforementioned acts against multiple victims.
