Female student won first prize in the final round of Vinh University's Voice Contest

On the evening of December 31, Vinh University Youth Union organized the final round of the singing contest. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Vinh University Youth Union, and many students of the school.

The Voice Contest for students is one of the activities in a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association; and to welcome the Party to celebrate the Spring of Canh Ty 2020.

The contest was organized for candidates, students of Course 60 studying at 14 Faculties, Institutes, and students of Vinh University's Specialized School, to create a healthy playground. The contest night took place with 18 outstanding individual performances. The performances were rich and diverse in form with content praising the beauty of the homeland, the country, the love of youth, and the right musical aesthetic orientation for the young generation.

The contest is an opportunity to discover good voices, the core for developing cultural and artistic movements among students. At the same time, this is a playground for students in the whole province to have the opportunity to exchange, helping them to become more mature, have dreams, ambitions and courage to contribute to promoting the work of the Youth Union in the province.

At the end of the contest, the jury awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes. In which, the first prize belonged to contestant Nguyen Doan Thanh Mai, class 10A13, Vinh University.
