Female student wins first prize in the final round of the Vinh University Singing Contest.
(Baonghean.vn) - In the final round of the Vinh University Singing Contest, the judging panel awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and a consolation prize.
On the evening of December 31st, the Vinh University Youth Union organized the final round of the singing competition. Attending the event were representatives from the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Vinh University Youth Union, and a large number of students from the university.

The Student Singing Contest is one of the activities in a series of events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Union; and celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Rat 2020.
The competition was organized for students of the 60th cohort studying at 14 faculties and institutes, as well as students from the specialized high school of Vinh University, aiming to create a healthy playground for them. The competition night featured 18 outstanding individual performances. The performances were diverse and varied, with content praising the beauty of the homeland, the love of youth, and guiding the younger generation towards a proper musical aesthetic.
The competition is an opportunity to discover talented singers, forming the core for the development of cultural and artistic activities among students. At the same time, it provides a platform for students throughout the province to interact, helping them mature, develop dreams and ambitions, and build the confidence to contribute to the advancement of the Youth Union and Student Association in the province.

At the end of the competition, the judging panel awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes. The first prize went to Nguyen Doan Thanh Mai, a student from class 10A13 of Vinh University High School for the Gifted.
