11th-grade female student sexually assaulted in karaoke bar.

While on her way to school with a friend, an 11th-grade female student was stopped by a man who dragged her into a karaoke bar and committed a heinous act.

On March 26, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Vinh Tuong District Police, Vinh Phuc Province, announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute NTA (born in 1999), residing in Chan Hung Commune, Vinh Tuong District, for the crime of rape.

According to initial investigation information, at approximately 4 PM on March 18, 2017, Phuong (born in 2000), an 11th-grade student, was riding an electric motorbike with Mai, her classmate, on their way to school when NTA stopped them and dragged them into a karaoke bar (a business owned by NTA's family in Chan Hung commune).

Despite seeing her friend struggling, Phuong did not help but continued driving to school, leaving NTA to drag Mai away. After struggling with Mai for about 5 minutes in the karaoke bar, NTA overpowered her, took the female student to the attic, and committed the act of sexual intercourse against her will.

The case is currently under further investigation by the authorities.
