“Every time I come home, I see my mother often having trouble sleeping because of difficulty breathing, a symptom caused by chronic sinusitis, especially on windy and changeable days. I feel so sorry for her. From then on, I decided to study well in the B group to take the medical entrance exam, and later treat my mother and everyone else,” Nhat Mai confided.
Of the three subjects of the B block, Nhat Mai is always confident with Math and Chemistry, because she has a foundation and has focused on learning knowledge and skills since entering grade 10. As for Biology, Mai said she only focused on studying about 3 months before the exam, meaning that only when the exam was "right around the corner" did she spend time "filling in the gaps" in knowledge for this subject.

Sharing her study secrets, Nhat Mai said: “I only study at school, the rest of the time I study at home, I do not attend exam preparation classes outside. In class, I try to concentrate on listening to the teachers to absorb knowledge, if I do not understand something, I stand up and ask for permission to discuss, so that the knowledge will always be deeply engraved.”
During her time at home, Nhat Mai consults documents borrowed from friends and teachers and learns more on the Internet. Before each reference test, Mai always visualizes what problems need to be solved first, and what problems need to be solved later to achieve optimal efficiency. Thanks to that, every time she enters the exam room, she is always confident and ready.
Nguyen Thi Nhat Mai's first wish is to apply to Hanoi Medical University. Thus, her dream of becoming a good doctor to treat her mother and everyone else is within reach and gradually becoming a reality.
“I know that this is just the initial result, there is still a long way ahead with many challenges, requiring effort to overcome. To reach my dream, I will continue to strive in studying, practicing and learning about communication skills, life skills, and gradually improving myself.”
