Poor female student in Do Luong wishes to become a soldier

However, Dau Thi Lien - a 12A1 student at Do Luong III High School (Nghe An) always tries to overcome difficulties, study well and register for the entrance exam to the Military Technical Academy with 29.5 points.

Dau Thi Lien's family lives in Van Minh hamlet, Minh Son commune, Do Luong - a rural area with many difficulties. With 7 sao of rice fields, the family's life is quite difficult, so her father - Dau Le Lenh had to go to Da Nang to work as a construction worker, saving a little money to support 3 children's education.

Understanding her parents' hardships, Lien was determined to pass the Military Technical Academy entrance exam in block A1 with 29.5 points. Of which, Math: 10; Chemistry: 10; Physics: 9.5. When she heard the news that she got a high score, her mother, Nguyen Thi Dung, was moved: "Lien is very studious, she wants to get into a military school so that her parents can save on tuition. When I heard that she got a high score, I was so happy that I cried."

To achieve high scores in the recent exam, Lien shared: “Group study skills are very important. After learning the lessons in class, I often discuss exercises with my classmates. At that time, I will easily memorize the lessons and have many effective ways to solve the problems.”

In addition, Lien often studies online and asks her teachers for help whenever she doesn't understand. It is known that Lien's main motivation for getting high scores is because she wants to repay her parents. Especially her father had to work hard in a foreign land to earn money to support his children's education.

Dau Thi Lien is also known as a student with many achievements in her studies. For 12 consecutive years, she has been an excellent student in all aspects. In grades 6 and 8, she won first and third prizes in Math at the district level. In grade 11, she was an excellent student in the province in Math.
