Female Medical Station Chief is dedicated to her profession and devoted to her patients
Enthusiastic, responsible, and dedicated to her profession, for nearly 30 years, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ha - Head of Nghia Duc Commune Health Station, Nghia Dan District, has always devoted herself to her work and to her patients. The doctor has proactively advised local authorities and leaders to effectively direct the implementation of medical work and disease prevention in the area, contributing to health care and improving the quality of life of the people.
In 1997, after graduating from Tue Tinh Traditional Medicine School, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ha was assigned to work at Nghia Duc Commune Health Station. From a medical practitioner, after 5 years of hard study, she graduated with a major in general medicine from Thai Binh Medical University, and was then appointed as Head of Nghia Duc Commune Health Station.

Previously, Nghia Duc was a particularly disadvantaged commune of Nghia Dan district, with inadequate facilities. At one point, the station only had 4 staff members, including 1 population specialist, and 2 hamlets did not have village or hamlet health care.
In the first years of working in the locality, the lives of the people here still faced many difficulties, not paying attention to taking care of their own health and the community's health. Ms. Ha advised the Party Committee, the government and mass organizations to organize propaganda, raise awareness, and sense of self-protection of health for the community, especially focusing on environmental sanitation, dredging sewers, cleaning livestock barns, building sanitation facilities, bathrooms, latrines, water tanks, etc., ensuring hygiene according to new rural standards associated with inspection and supervision by medical staff, in order to achieve high efficiency, gradually entering the subconscious of the people.

Remembering Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor must be like a mother", Dr. Ha has constantly studied and practiced to best fulfill her responsibility. While working as a manager and directly examining and treating patients, Dr. Ha cannot remember how many people she has taken care of and consulted on treatment methods; how many cases of accidents and sudden anaphylactic shock have been promptly treated by her and the doctors and nurses of the First Aid Station before being transferred to a higher level for treatment. With her thoughtfulness, care, and dedication to her work, Dr. Ha has received the love and affection of the local people.
“Medical profession is directly related to human health and life, requiring doctors to not only have good expertise, but also be truly dedicated, treating and caring for patients as if they were family members. To do well in both management and professional work, I always comply with the regulations of the industry in management and operation. In addition, I always care for, encourage and motivate the doctors, nurses and staff at the Station to overcome all difficulties and wholeheartedly serve the patients.”

Believing that the medical profession is a noble and glorious profession, Ms. Ha always considers patients who come to the Station for examination and treatment as her relatives, being close, asking about them and caring and sharing.
Dr. Ha is a very enthusiastic and responsible person. I often get sick so I often have to go to the Commune Health Station for examination and treatment. When I come here, the doctor examines my condition and gives me detailed health advice, so I feel very secure. Not only me but all the people in the commune who come to the Station are asked and examined by her with care and attention.

With the role and responsibility of the station chief, she knows how to assign tasks in accordance with the conditions, capacity, and professional qualifications of each person. She herself is always exemplary in her work to gradually build Nghia Duc Commune Health Station into a trusted address in primary health care for the people.
In particular, at the time when there were Covid-19 cases in Nghia Duc commune, facing the complicated developments of the epidemic, she and her colleagues coordinated with the units and organizations of the commune to implement the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every subject", to propagate measures to prevent and control the epidemic. From her efforts to prevent the epidemic from spreading to the community, she personally received a lot of encouragement and thanks from the people in the area.

In 2014, the Health Station was recognized as meeting the National criteria for commune health. From 2012 to present, Nghia Duc Commune Health Station has always been awarded Certificates of Merit by the District Health Center, Nghia Dan District Labor Federation, and Nghe An Department of Health for its outstanding achievements in performing the task of providing health care for the people.
“Doctor Nguyen Thi Ha is a person with good professional qualifications, highly responsible in management activities, regularly doing a good job of advising the Party Committee and the government in directing the implementation of epidemic prevention and control work in the area, and organizing good primary health care for the people. With those contributions, for many consecutive years, Doctor Ha has been awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district, Nghe An Department of Health, and the Provincial People's Committee for her many achievements in medical management and treatment.”
