(Baonghean.vn) - Heavy rain and eroded mountain soil caused part of the wall of Mr. Tran Van Ha's house in hamlet 10, Nam Loc commune, Nam Dan district (Nghe An) to collapse, with rocks and soil filling nearly half of the house.

At around 3am on October 9th, while Mr. Ha's family was sleeping, they heard a loud crash. When they woke up, they suddenly saw that the wall in the bedroom inside the house had been eroded by the mountain and collapsed, causing the wall to collapse. The mountain then flooded into Mr. Ha's house.
Also during this time, many households in hamlet 4, hamlet 10 and Nam Loc Kindergarten suffered a lot of damage due to prolonged heavy rain.

At Nam Loc Kindergarten, the water was deep, many school supplies such as cabinets, books, etc. were wet and damaged.
On the afternoon of October 10, the Youth Union members of Nam Loc commune coordinated with the Youth Union of Nam Dan district Police to help people clean up and clear houses and drains.
Currently, some households in Nam Loc area still cannot clean up due to heavy rain and have to depend a lot on the weather.
