(Baonghean.vn) - Heavy rains and soil erosion caused a section of the wall of Mr. Tran Van Ha's house in Hamlet 10, Nam Loc Commune, Nam Dan District (Nghe An) to collapse, with soil and rocks burying nearly half of the house.

Around 3 a.m. on October 9th, while Mr. Ha's family was asleep, they heard a loud crashing sound. Upon waking, they suddenly saw that the wall of their bedroom had been eroded by a landslide, causing it to collapse. The landslide then flooded into Mr. Ha's house.

During this same period, many households in hamlets 4 and 10, as well as Nam Loc Kindergarten, suffered significant damage due to prolonged heavy rainfall.

At Nam Loc Kindergarten, the flooding was severe, and many school supplies such as cabinets and books were soaked and damaged.

On the afternoon of October 10th, members of the Youth Union of Nam Loc commune, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Nam Dan District Police, launched a campaign to help people clean up, clear houses, and unclog drains.

Currently, some households in Nam Loc district are still unable to clean up due to heavy rain and are heavily dependent on the weather.
