Tears farewell to artist Han Van Tinh

On the afternoon of September 7, at the funeral home at 125 Phung Hung, Hanoi, many artists, friends and fans came to say goodbye to artist Han Van Tinh.

Meritorious Artist Han Van Tinh passed away at noon on September 4.

Originally a Tuong actor, Meritorious Artist Han Van Tinh was loved by the audience through the role of Chu Van Quynh in the film "Dat va nguoi". In early 2015, Han Van Tinh discovered he had lung cancer after an exhausting performance on the Tuong stage. At that time, Han Van Tinh asked the doctor to let him go home to wait for death because he had no money for treatment. In that situation, readers from all over sent money directly to the account of Ms. Lan, Mr. Tinh's wife, to support him with part of the medical expenses. The amount of money that readers of VietNamNet sent to artist Han Van Tinh was about 100 million VND.

Before passing away forever, artist Han Van Tinh said his last words to artist Tra My and asked her to send them to the entire audience for him. "If anything unfortunate happens to me, please send my thanks to all the audience, the people who love me and always stand by me when I am in trouble. And especially send my deep thanks to the medical staff of Hung Viet Oncology Hospital who reached out to save me, saved my life in the past two years. And thank you to my colleagues who have always been there to encourage and visit me. Thank you all!".

After the funeral, artist Han Van Tinh will be cremated at Hoan Vu Crematorium. His ashes will be brought back to his hometown in the garden house, Van Luong commune, Tam Nong district, Phu Tho province on September 12. This is a piece of land about 50m²that Phu Tho Province gave Han Van Tinh when they heard of his death.
