The Vinh City Police have arrested Ngo Thi Hanh (33 years old, residing in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh City) for illegally transporting and selling drugs.

Hanh is the owner of a famous eel porridge restaurant in Vinh City. However, recently, the police have determined that Hanh has shown signs of drug trafficking.

Based on this, the police established a special case, code-named 016D, to combat and dismantle the operation. Through surveillance, the police discovered that whenever Hanh received drugs from various provinces and cities, she would divide them into smaller quantities and resell them to dealers in Vinh City to make a profit. Hanh's methods of delivering and receiving goods were very sophisticated; she often took her child out to play but was actually meeting with her business partners...

On October 21st, while on her way to deliver the goods, Hanh was caught red-handed by law enforcement. The police seized 1.1 kg of heroin.

Reportedly, in September 2015, Hanh completed her prison sentence for illegal drug trafficking and opened a shop selling eel porridge near the Vinh city gate.
