Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, became the champion of the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" competition with 215 points after a spectacular race.
The final round of the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" competition, held on the morning of October 26th, concluded with a victory for contestant Tran Bui Bao Khanh from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students. With unwavering composure and sound strategy, Bao Khanh brilliantly won the prestigious laurel wreath with a total score of 215, after a dramatic intellectual race and breathtaking point-scoring chases.
The competition featured four of the best mountaineers of the year: Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue), Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa), and Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted).

A closely contested race in the opening stage.
From the very first round, all four contestants showed equal skill, closely trailing in points. Tran Bui Bao Khanh temporarily took the lead with 65 points after the individual and group warm-up rounds. Following him were Le Quang Duy Khoa with 60 points, Nguyen Nhut Lam with 35 points, and Doan Thanh Tung with 30 points. This balanced start foreshadowed a highly competitive final.
The turning point from "Obstacles" by Doan Thanh Tung
The Obstacle Course round witnessed a major turning point. Despite having the lowest score after the Warm-up round, Doan Thanh Tung made a bold decision by pressing the buzzer to answer the keyword "The Soul of Truong Ba in the Body of a Butcher" after only one horizontal clue was revealed. This correct decision earned the student from Khanh Hoa an additional 60 points, propelling him to the top of the leaderboard with 100 points, creating a huge surprise and completely changing the course of the competition.

A close race for points in the Speed Round.
The Speed Round unfolded at a high pace and with almost perfect accuracy from the contestants. Bao Khanh demonstrated exceptional quick thinking, consistently giving the fastest answers, at times regaining the lead. However, Thanh Tung also proved his persistence by fiercely chasing after him. At the end of the round, Thanh Tung once again took the lead with 210 points, creating a safe distance from Bao Khanh (185 points), Duy Khoa (150 points), and Nhut Lam (135 points), raising the drama before the decisive round.
Character and determination are crucial in the final round.
Entering the final round with a lead, Thanh Tung chose a safe strategy with the 20-point question package (3 questions) but failed, maintaining his score at 210 points. This was an opportunity for the remaining contestants to break away. Seizing the opportunity, Bao Khanh had a perfect final round. With composure and a smart question package choice (20-30-20 points), the Hanoi student answered all three questions correctly, making a spectacular comeback to take the lead and win the overall competition with 215 points.

Meanwhile, Le Quang Duy Khoa and Nguyen Nhut Lam also made commendable efforts in their competition, demonstrating a determined fighting spirit until the very last seconds. This year's final was once again enlivened by the enthusiastic atmosphere from the viewing locations, where thousands of students and teachers cheered wholeheartedly for the contestants, contributing to a successful Olympia season.
