The first week of the 26th season of "Road to Olympia" witnessed a dramatic competition, ending with a victory for contestant Nguyen Anh Tu from Bac Ninh High School with a total score of 285. This thrilling chase for points marked the beginning of a promising new season.

The competition for week 1, month 1, quarter 1 featured four contestants: Nguyen Quang Hung (Khuong Dinh High School - Hanoi), Nguyen Anh Tu (Bac Ninh High School), Hoang Duy Anh (Cam Pha High School - Quang Ninh), and Ngo Tien Viet (Quang Xuong 1 High School - Thanh Hoa).
Right from the Warm-up round, all four contestants demonstrated comparable knowledge and skill. After the question rounds, the scores were fairly evenly distributed, with Tien Viet temporarily leading with 40 points, followed by Anh Tu and Duy Anh with 30 points each, and Quang Hung with 20 points. The advantage only changed after the general Warm-up round, when Anh Tu pulled ahead with 45 points.

The drama of the competition intensified in the Obstacle Course segment with a 17-letter keyword. Immediately after the first row was revealed, Nguyen Anh Tu quickly pressed the buzzer and gave the correct answer: "Phu Dong Thien Vuong".
This outstanding keyword decoding helped Anh Tú make a major breakthrough, taking the lead with 115 points and creating a safe distance from the remaining contestants.

With the change in response time during the Speed Round, Anh Tú continued to demonstrate impressive form. He answered all four questions correctly and scored a perfect 160 points. After this round, Anh Tú solidified his leading position with 275 points, far ahead of his rivals: Quang Hưng (130 points), Tiến Việt (120 points), and Duy Anh (75 points).

The final round witnessed a breathtaking chase for points. Anh Tú was unsuccessful with his question package, giving other contestants a chance to pull ahead. Notably, Ngô Tiến Việt capitalized on the opportunity, gaining points from other contestants' questions and successfully using his "Star of Hope" ability, closing the gap and at one point reaching 255 points.
However, in the final question of Duy Anh's round, Anh Tú seized the opportunity to answer and gave the correct answer. This decisive point boosted Anh Tú's total score to 285, officially securing his first ever Olympia crown in its 26th year.
