With 290 points, Doan Gia Khanh from Huu Lung High School (Lang Son) staged a spectacular comeback, winning the thrilling weekly competition of the "Road to Olympia" contest.
The weekly competition of the 26th season of "Road to Olympia" witnessed one of the most dramatic point chases, with contestant Doan Gia Khanh from Huu Lung High School (Lang Son) winning the laurel wreath with 290 points after correctly answering the final question.
Competing alongside Gia Khánh were three other climbers: Nguyễn Xuân Hưng (Quảng Oai High School, Hanoi), Phạm Bá Đức Anh (B Bình Lục High School, Ninh Bình), and Trần Võ Gia Bảo (Lê Quý Đôn Specialized High School, Đông Hải, Khánh Hòa).

A cautious start and a turning point from the Obstacle Course.
After the individual and group warm-up rounds, Tran Vo Gia Bao temporarily took the lead with 80 points. The following positions were held by Gia Khanh (50 points), Duc Anh (40 points), and Xuan Hung (20 points).

However, the situation completely changed in the Obstacle Course round. Immediately after the first puzzle piece was revealed, Doan Gia Khanh quickly pressed the buzzer and gave the correct answer "Red Rain," earning 60 crucial points. This breakthrough helped Gia Khanh take the lead in the climbing challenge.
Accelerate and maintain the advantage.
Entering the Acceleration round, the competitive atmosphere became more intense as scores constantly changed. Doan Gia Khanh showed consistent performance, continuously giving correct answers and consolidating his leading position with 250 points.

In a close-knit effort, Gia Bảo also accumulated 180 points. Meanwhile, Đức Anh had 150 points and Xuân Hưng had 50 points before entering the final round.
The final round was breathtaking right up to the last question.
As the highest-scoring candidate, Gia Khánh chose the safe 3-question package worth 20 points but failed to answer any of them. Seizing the opportunity, Gia Bảo took the chance to answer and earned more points, narrowing the gap to just 10 points behind Gia Khánh.

In his turn, Gia Bảo continued to perform excellently, answering 2 out of 3 questions correctly and taking the lead with 260 points, creating a spectacular comeback.
The competition became more dramatic when Duc Anh, choosing the 20-30-20 point package and using the "Star of Hope" ability, finished the round with 200 points.
All attention was focused on Xuan Hung's turn. This contestant failed to answer all three of his 30-point questions. On the second question, Gia Khanh quickly seized the opportunity to answer, leveling the score at 260 points with Gia Bao. This meant the winner would be decided on the final question of the program.

In the decisive moment, Doan Gia Khanh pressed the buzzer again to answer. Although he admitted he wasn't entirely sure, his answer was correct, earning him the crucial point and securing the overall victory with 290 points.
