Biden assures continued US support for Ukraine

According to TASS news agency on January 11, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a regular press briefing on January 10 (Washington time) that US President Joe Biden had a phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky and told him that the US will continue to support Ukraine.
“President Biden spoke by phone with President Zelensky a few minutes ago, once again assuring him of the “continued support of the United States for Ukraine over the past three years,” Ms. Pierre noted.
President of UkraineZelenskyexpressed gratitude for the growing support and informed the PresidentBiden on his strategic plan for war with Russia.
The White House chief also informed Mr. Zelensky about speeding up the process of supplying weapons.for Ukraine.
In addition, the White House also announced that President Joe Biden's farewell speech after his term as president will take place on January 15, at 8 p.m. (Washington time). The farewell speech is a traditional speech by American leaders, in which they summarize their legacy as head of state.
