Taking advantage of the empty space behind his house, Mr. Ngoc Vu in Phu Yen built a mini swimming pool for his 4-month-old daughter. He bought all the materials for about 1,000,000 VND and completed the construction in one month. The pool can accommodate 2-3 children under 5 years old or one adult and a 1-2 year old child.
Ngoc Vu, 33, is a physical education teacher who enjoys making toys for his children in his free time. At the beginning of summer, his wife shared her intention to take their child swimming, but expressed concerns about the quality of inflatable pools or public swimming pools. The young father then came up with the idea of building a swimming pool at home for his child. He didn't spend much time on the design, but it took him about a month to complete.
Every day, after teaching, Mr. Vu spends about 1-2 hours building the pool. He does it step by step based on his own imagination, without any specific drawings or models. The father from Phu Yen admits that, because he is not a professional builder, the construction takes a bit longer. The finished project also doesn't look as good as he hoped.

The operating principle of the swimming pool built by Mr. Vu is quite simple. The pool has a drain valve on the side, making it convenient for draining and cleaning. The water in the pool is warmed to a temperature suitable for children's bodies and then manually filled.
Mr. Vu's daughter happily plays in the swimming pool that her father built himself. The teacher shared that building the pool wasn't difficult, but it brought childhood joy to his daughter, making him feel fulfilled. When his daughter grows up, he hopes she will always cherish the memorable memories of the corner of the yard with the swimming pool and understand that her parents always try to bring a smile to her face through the simplest things.
