The PSG owner is the most powerful man in French football.

The magazine L'Équipe has just released its list of the 30 most influential figures in French football today, with the top spot held by the tycoon v.

L'Équipe's assessment confirms that, given the power and financial resources he brings to PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi deserves the number one spot.

Since taking over the club in late 2011, the tycoon has quickly injected hundreds of millions of dollars to transform PSG into one of the top teams in Europe. Since then, the Parc des Princes club has consistently won the Ligue 1 title, even scooping all three domestic trophies last season.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi is helping PSG dominate French football.

Immediately behind Nasser Al-Khelaifi is Didier Deschamps, the current coach of the French national team. This coach has the task of selecting the best squad to help France realize their ambition of winning Euro 2016 on home soil.

Third on L'Équipe's list is Jean-Michel Aulas, the current president of Lyon. This leader is not only prominent in football (Lyon has won Ligue 1 multiple times), but is also a successful businessman with a net worth of nearly half a billion dollars.

Real Madrid's new coach, Zinedine Zidane, is currently ranked fourth, while one of his players, Karim Benzema, is in fifth place. Manchester United's young striker, Anthony Martial, is ranked ninth, three places higher than PSG's star player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Transfer agent Jean-Pierre Bernes surprisingly ranked sixth. He currently represents Laurent Blanc, the PSG coach, and many other famous players.

Meanwhile, UEFA President Michel Platini ranked only eighth, while agent Jorge Mendes came in 15th. This low ranking stems from Mendes' limited client base in Ligue 1, while the three-time Ballon d'Or winner's reputation is declining due to scandals.
