Donald Trump says the US needs to get along with Russia
Former US President Donald Trump said that cooperation with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing.

According to RIA Novosti on August 31, former US President Donald Trump said that getting along with Russia is good.
"Getting along with Russia is good, not bad, remember that. Getting along with these people is good, not bad, and it's smart," Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania broadcast on US cable television.
Mr. Trump said that incumbent US President Joe Biden has “lost his sanity,” and described Mr. Biden as “a person with a low IQ.”
Mr Trump said he could help maintain stability around the world by keeping the lines of communication open, adding: "I can do it by making phone calls, by being smarter."
A day earlier, on August 29, he said at an event in Wisconsin that the biggest challenge facing the United States and the international community is preventing a nuclear war from breaking out in the near future.
Mr Trump said the US and Russia were the biggest nuclear powers, but predicted that China would catch up in about five years as it builds up its nuclear arsenal.
The Republican candidate is expected to engage in arms control talks with Russia if he returns to the White House after the November election.
