Mr. Tran Bac Ha parts ways with BIDV.

After much speculation, Mr. Tran Bac Ha officially resigned from his position as Chairman of BIDV on September 1st to retire, and the management of the bank has been handed over to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan.

Mr. Tran Bac Ha retired after 35 years of service with BIDV.

The Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) announced changes in its senior management at the end of September 1st. Accordingly, Mr. Tran Bac Ha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV, retired and began receiving social insurance benefits from September 1st. Also from this date, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, a member of the BIDV Board of Directors, was elected to oversee the bank's operations.

Mr. Tran Bac Ha, with over 35 years of dedication to BIDV, is considered the heart and soul of the bank. He is also the Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Investors in Cambodia (AVIC), in Laos (AVIL), and in Myanmar (AVIM).

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, who was elected by the Board of Directors to manage the bank's operations, was born in 1958. He has been associated with BIDV since 1981, serving as its General Director from 2008 to 2012, before becoming a member of the bank's Board of Directors.
