Petrolimex donates over 2 billion VND to help people in Nghe An overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi).
Following the heavy losses and damage caused by Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi), the Party Committee, Trade Union, and Youth Union of Petrolimex Nghe An Co., Ltd. jointly organized a fundraising campaign to support the people of Nghe An province in overcoming the consequences of the storm.
In the context of Typhoon No. 10 causing severe damage to many central provinces, especially Nghe An - the area directly affected, Petrolimex Nghe An proactively implemented a donation program with the spirit of "mutual support" and "helping those in need".
The total amount of donations at the launch ceremony was over 145 million VND, contributed by the company's officers and employees through various means at the company's head office and affiliated units.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Van, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Petrolimex Nghe An Co., Ltd., emphasized: "Although our unit is also suffering greatly from natural disasters, with a tradition of nearly 70 years of building and developing, Petrolimex Nghe An always prioritizes the spirit of serving the community. We believe that every act of sharing during difficult times is a valuable source of encouragement to help our people overcome hardship."

Previously, in accordance with the policy of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), the leadership of Petrolimex Nghe An Company Limited, led by Mr. Nguyen Sy Van - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, directly handed over 2 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to support the people of Nghe An province in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi). The entire amount was drawn from the Company's business expenses and transferred directly to the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee's account, ensuring transparency and that the funds reached the intended recipients.
The activities of supporting and sharing the difficulties with people in flood-affected areas affirm the role and responsibility of Petrolimex Nghe An in particular and the Vietnam National Petroleum Group in general in social welfare work, upholding the national tradition of "mutual support and solidarity".
It is known that from the beginning of 2025 until now, Petrolimex has donated 3.6 billion VND to the construction of the Primary and Secondary School in Quynh Tho commune, now Quynh Phu commune (Nghe An province); donated 2 billion VND to flood relief efforts; and the social welfare activities of Petrolimex Nghe An Co., Ltd. have amounted to over 1.2 billion VND (including a donation of 300 million VND to help people in Nghe An province overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 5).
