PGBank opens new branch in Nghe An.
Prosperity and Development Commercial Bank (PGBank) inaugurated its Nghe An Branch in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, on November 11th.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Doan Manh Ha, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam in Nghe An province, highly appreciated PGBank's efforts in investing in infrastructure and expanding services in the province, contributing to local economic development.
Mr. Duong Dinh Hung, Director of PGBank Nghe An Branch, expressed his gratitude for the support of the authorities and hoped that the new branch would be among the top 10 leading commercial banks in Nghe An province within the next 5 years, aiming to achieve total assets of 3,000 billion VND. The Nghe An branch aims to provide comprehensive and diverse financial services to enhance customer experience.
Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Acting General Director of PGBank, affirmed the bank's goal of developing into an internationally standardized bank, with high-quality services and financial solutions tailored to customer needs.
This opening event is part of PGBank's ongoing brand expansion and rebranding, which includes the opening of numerous branches and transaction offices nationwide.
The Vietnam Prosperity and Development Commercial Bank (PGBank), formerly known as the Dong Thap Muoi Rural Commercial Bank, was established on November 13, 1993. In 2007, PGBank changed its name to Petrolimex Petroleum Commercial Bank for the first time and has continuously grown, gradually building trust with its customers.
December 2023 marked a significant milestone for PGBank as it entered a transformation phase, making a strong breakthrough with its renaming to Prosperity and Development Commercial Bank, along with a brand identity update. PGBank currently operates with a widespread network of 91 branches and transaction offices with nearly 2,000 employees nationwide.
