Ben Thuy Ferry - an immortal historical landmark

(Baonghean) - Ben Thuy, situated on a vital North-South transportation artery, became the frontline in the fight against the Americans in the rear and left its mark by shooting down the first aircraft in the skies of North Vietnam. Ben Thuy became the starting point for the victory in crushing the US Air Force by our army and people, and during those years, the people and soldiers at the Ben Thuy bridgehead had to face enormous and extremely fierce challenges.
