Authorities crack down on case 915PC, arresting thieves for stealing bronze religious artifacts.

(Baonghean.vn) - Do Luong Police have just cracked case number 915PC - regarding the theft of religious artifacts. Two suspects were arrested for committing 10 thefts of bronze religious artifacts.in the districts of Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, and Anh Son.

The two suspects are at the police station.

Through various investigative methods, the police force urgently arrested Tran Van Phuong (born in 1980), residing in Hamlet 1, Bac Son Commune, Do Luong District. At the police station, the suspect confessed to committing 10 thefts of property from churches, including 3 bronze gongs, 5 incense burners, 10 cranes, and other bronze items, with a total weight of over 10 kg; of which 8 incidents occurred in Do Luong District, 1 in Thanh Chuong District, and 1 in Anh Son District.

Through further investigation, the Do Luong police arrested Ho Xuan Hong (born in 1988), originally from Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, and temporarily residing in Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district. Initially, Hong confessed to receiving stolen religious artifacts from six thefts. A search of Hong's residences in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, and Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, yielded 5 incense burners, 4 incense holders, 6 candle holders, 3 gongs, and 9 bronze cranes – evidence from the thefts. The police are continuing their investigation and expanding the case.
