Major drug bust: Suspect arrested for transporting 12 blocks of heroin.

On November 10th, the Criminal Investigation Department of Que Phong District Police announced that they had just dismantled a criminal ring.drug trafficking"Big deal," authorities detained two suspects and seized 12 blocks of heroin.

In early October 2020, based on intelligence gathered in the area, investigators discovered several suspicious individuals frequently appearing and exhibiting suspicious behavior related to drug trafficking. Immediately afterward,Que Phong District PoliceA special investigation was launched, and experienced officers were assigned to investigate and verify the case.

After days of gathering evidence, on November 5th, the special task force received information that the suspects would be transporting a huge quantity of drugs along National Highway 48 to northern provinces for distribution.

During a stakeout at 9:30 PM on the same day, the task force discovered and apprehended Truong Van Que (born in 1995), residing in Hung Dung ward (Vinh City), while he was transporting drugs. The seized evidence at the scene included 12 blocks of heroin.

Expanding the investigation, the special task force executed an emergency search warrant and detained Truong Thi Huyen (born in 1976), residing in Kim Son town (Que Phong district), due to her involvement in the aforementioned drug trafficking ring.

At the police station, the two suspects initially admitted to their crimes. Currently, the case is being further investigated by the police.
