Breaking the lock, sneaking into people's houses to steal property in broad daylight

On March 30, Captain Pham Thanh Hai - Captain of the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Criminal - Economic - Drug Crimes of Nghi Loc District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining Le Van Dong (born in 1992, residing in Hamlet 12, Linh Son Commune, Anh Son District) to clarify the act of property theft.

Le Van Dong was arrested by Nghi Loc District Police at 4:00 p.m. on March 29 after being accused of committing a theft at a house in Nghi Xa Commune (Nghi Loc).
Previously, on the morning of March 26, Nghi Loc District Police received a report from Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (residing in Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, Nghi Loc District) that her house had just been broken into and her property stolen.
After verifying the case, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Criminal - Economic - Drug Crimes of Nghi Loc District Police deployed reconnaissance forces to collect information. Through the work of monitoring the area, searching and screening and combining with the security camera system, the functional forces discovered a subject who used an Exciter motorbike with license plate 61K1-098.13 to commit the theft.
At 4:00 p.m. the same day, investigators discovered the subject was still using this Exciter motorbike in Nghi Huong ward, Cua Lo town, so they made an emergency arrest.

At the investigation agency, the suspect gave his name as Le Van Dong. Dong admitted that when he arrived at Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, he discovered an empty house, broke the gate lock, broke the door lock, and broke inside. There, Dong stole a 42-inch SHARP TV and 2 million VND.
Dong is unemployed and has three previous convictions for theft. The case is still under investigation by the authorities.
