Breaking locks and sneaking into people's homes to steal property in broad daylight.
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing that the house was empty, Dong broke the gate lock and sneaked inside to steal a television. He then moved to another location to continue his theft activities but was apprehended.
On March 30th, Captain Pham Thanh Hai – Head of the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team of Nghi Loc District Police – stated that the unit is currently holding Le Van Dong (born in 1992, residing in Hamlet 12, Linh Son Commune, Anh Son District) in custody for investigation into the theft of property.

Le Van Dong was arrested by Nghi Loc District Police at 4 PM on March 29th after being accused of stealing property from a house in Nghi Xa commune (Nghi Loc).
Earlier, on the morning of March 26th, the Nghi Loc District Police received a report from Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (residing in Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, Nghi Loc District) regarding a break-in at her house where property was stolen.
After verifying the incident, the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team of Nghi Loc District Police deployed reconnaissance forces to gather information. Through monitoring the area, searching, filtering, and combining with the security camera system, the authorities discovered a suspect who used an Exciter motorbike with license plate 61K1-098.13 to commit the theft.
At 4 PM the same day, investigators discovered the suspect was still using the same Exciter motorbike in Nghi Huong ward, Cua Lo town, so they proceeded with an urgent arrest.

At the police station, the suspect identified himself as Le Van Dong. Dong admitted that upon arriving at Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, he discovered an unoccupied house, broke the gate lock and the door lock, and entered the house. Inside, he stole a 42-inch SHARP television and 2 million VND.
Dong is unemployed and has three prior convictions for theft. The case is currently under investigation by the authorities.
