Police have just dismantled a gambling den operating in the forest, where many gamblers from neighboring areas gathered to play dice games.
On August 14th, the Binh Thuan Provincial Police announced that they had coordinated with the La Gi Town Police to dismantle a drug trafficking ring.gambleAuthorities detained 17 individuals along with over 200 million VND found at the gambling table during a dice game in the oil palm forest.

Previously, based on information from the public and intelligence gathering, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police discovered a gambling den operating in the form of dice games for money in the oil palm forest of Tan Ly 2 hamlet, Tan Binh commune, La Gi town.
This location attracts gamblers from various localities such as Lagi, Duc Linh, Tanh Linh, Ham Tan, Ham Thuan Nam, and some provinces like Dong Nai, Lam Dong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Following a period of surveillance, the Criminal Police Department's task force raided the premises and caught 24 individuals red-handed gambling.

At the scene, the police seized evidence including a set of dice-shaking equipment, 6 motorbikes, and over 200 million VND in cash.
Initially, the police detained 17 individuals for investigation into the offenses of "organizing gambling" and "gambling." They are also continuing to pursue the remaining suspects for further investigation and prosecution.
