Pham Anh Khoa at age 40: Looking back on events and changes.
After the 2018 scandal, singer Pham Anh Khoa went on a period of time away from home, seeking peace in a temple. Now at 40, he focuses on his family and has returned to music with a more mature and serene version.
Looking back at the biggest event of my career.
Pham Anh Khoa, a rock singer born in 1985, recently shared about the most difficult period in his career. In The Khang Show, he recounted for the first time the incident that occurred in May 2018, describing that time as "falling into an abyss" with many extreme emotions.
He said, “At times I was furious and screamed; at other times I regretted it. I left home for two months, cutting off all contact to find a way to resolve it. This was a crisis for the whole family, not just me.” The singer admitted that initially he only thought the incident would affect him personally, but later realized the significant repercussions had put pressure on his wife and children as well.

What tormented Pham Anh Khoa the most was the loss of connection with his wife. He shared that in the midst of the crisis, both of them had to struggle on their own and couldn't comfort each other. His wife, Thuy Trang, said that when her husband disappeared, she could only wait in silence.
A journey to rediscover peace and change.
During the two months he was away from home, Pham Anh Khoa went to a temple to practice meditation and did daily chores such as painting walls. He said that contact with the monks and the temple environment helped him find peace and musical inspiration again.

After the incident, the singer said he learned to adjust and control his emotions to preserve his family. "No one is stupid enough to do the same thing after an accident, so I had to change... When I knew what the consequences of my actions were, I wasn't crazy enough to continue making the same mistakes," he shared with Thanh Nien newspaper.
This change was also noted by his wife. Thuy Trang said that her husband is now more caring, thoughtful, and "no longer as flirtatious as before." For his part, Pham Anh Khoa affirmed that the incident has made him love and respect his wife even more.

Life in your 40s: Family comes first.
At 40, Pham Anh Khoa says he is in a quiet and mature phase. He is returning to music but with a completely different mindset. “At this time, I think a lot about my family. In my opinion, the most important thing is to be a good man for my family first, to see if my loved ones are happy, and only then should I think about music,” he said.

The male singer is well aware of his responsibilities as a father and is striving to improve himself to help his wife raise their children. He shared a moment that made him realize his vulnerability: when his youngest daughter brought a towel to comfort him. "Being a father and letting a child comfort you is truly 'the end'," he recounted.
Currently, his wife is not only his life partner but also his manager, overseeing everything in the family and his career. Pham Anh Khoa says his wife is very demanding, scrutinizing every detail in his music, from lip movements to melodies. He admits that this strictness has contributed to creating a softer and more serene Pham Anh Khoa today.
