Outperforming over 32,000 students nationwide, Pham Thi Mai Huong, a student from Vietnam Maritime University, officially became the champion of the financial education program "The Moneyverse 2025". She won a prize worth 1 billion VND and the opportunity to work at a major bank. Remarkably, Mai Huong does not come from an economics or finance background, demonstrating her remarkable effort and resilience throughout the competition.

As one of the youngest contestants, Mai Huong impressed the audience with her continuous breakthroughs through each round. In the final night on November 16, 2025, she faced major challenges, including a direct debate with a billionaire and the Multi-agent AI artificial intelligence system.

Sharing about her most memorable moment, Mai Huong said: "The moment I will never forget is seeing myself at the highest point - realizing that the universe had responded to all my efforts, all my determination to 'venture' and dare to overcome my limits."

She summarized her victory in three words: "Surprise - Pride - Happiness." Surprised because a student outside the economics field could win, proud because this achievement was the result of the efforts of the school, her family, and supporters, and happy because she had overcome her own limitations.

Mai Huong admitted that before participating in the program, she thought that a student living solely on part-time work didn't need to worry much about financial management. However, "The Money Universe" completely changed this perspective.

"I realized that financial literacy is the most fundamental knowledge base, because economics and finance affect every aspect of life," she shared. One of the biggest lessons she learned is the difference between "saving" (letting money sit idle) and "accumulating" (letting money work and create value).

With the 1 billion VND prize, Mai Huong said this was a "financial shock" at the age of 20 and she would need time to develop a plan to use this capital in the most logical, responsible, and effective way, possibly seeking advice from the program's experts.

Looking back on her journey, Mai Huong said the biggest obstacle she overcame was her self-doubt and fear of failure. From a shy girl, she learned to seize opportunities and believe in herself. She believes that The Moneyverse is not a competition to find the best, but a place for young people to hone their character.
