Striving to complete the N5 route before June 30, 2017.
(Baonghean.vn) - This was the directive of Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, during his inspection of the progress of the N5 road construction and his meeting with Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company on April 5th regarding some obstacles related to land clearance for affected households.

To date, nearly a year after construction began, the main route, passing through two districts, Nghi Loc and Do Luong, has had its land handed over to the construction unit. However, one household in Dai Son commune, Do Luong district, is still deliberately obstructing the contractor from applying the cement reinforcement layer, claiming that the road roller is causing cracks in their house.
Regarding the cross-river road and culvert intersecting with the local road, serving transportation and production for the Song Lam Cement Plant, seven communes – Nghi Phuong, Nghi My, Nghi Lam, Nghi Kieu in Nghi Loc district and Tan Son, Thinh Son, Hoa Son – have yet to hand over the land to the contractor, causing delays in the project's construction progress.

Following an on-site inspection, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that the Department of Transport direct the contractors to deploy seven construction teams along the route, striving to complete the first layer of asphalt paving before April 30th and the entire N5 project before June 30th, 2017.
For Nghi Loc and Do Luong districts, focus on completing compensation dossiers for level crossings and culverts to hand over the land to the construction unit before April 10, 2017; at the same time, prepare a plan to protect the construction section passing through households in Dai Son commune, Do Luong district, in a decisive and strict manner, ensuring the set progress.
