Investigators said last weekend that the third bomber and an assailant, whose identity is still unknown, arrived on the Greek island of Leros on October 3. They took a ferry to the port city of Piraeus on October 8 and joined a group of refugees heading to Serbia, AFP reported. Police are appealing to the public to help identify them.

The third bomber who blew himself up at the Stade de France stadium presented a Syrian passport bearing the name Mohammad al-Mahmod to Greek authorities, a source familiar with the investigation said.

French police have only identified one of the three bombers as Bilai Hadfi, a 20-year-old French national living in Belgium. They and four others carried out a series of shootings and suicide bombings in the capital Paris on the evening of November 13, killing 130 people and injuring about 350.

France is also hunting for Salah Abdeslam, an eighth suspect who is on the run. Abdeslam, a 26-year-old French citizen born in Belgium, is suspected of renting a black Volkswagen Polo used in the Paris terrorist attacks.
