Fined 2 businesses for not ensuring food hygiene and safety
(Baonghean.vn) - The two establishments that were just fined by the Nghe An Province Interdisciplinary Inspection Team on the morning of September 22 are Ding Tea Milk Tea Shop and Dai Duong Restaurant.
Pursuant to Decision No. 4173/QD-UBND dated September 12, 2017 of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, from September 15 to October 15, the provincial interdisciplinary inspection team on ensuring food safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival will inspect food production, processing, trading, import and catering service establishments in the area.
On the morning of September 22, the interdisciplinary inspection team suddenly inspected 2 food service establishments in Vinh City.

At the Ding Tea beverage store, address 01, Mai Hac De street of Viet Trung Company Limited, the delegation discovered that the store did not have a certificate of qualified safety facility according to regulations, violating point C, clause 3, article 24, Decree 178/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government.
The delegation has drawn up a record of administrative violations regarding food safety, and plans to impose a fine of 25 million VND on Viet Trung Company Limited.

At Dai Duong Restaurant, located at 161-163 Le Nin Avenue of Dai Duong Seafood Company Limited, the delegation discovered that the restaurant did not have measures to ensure environmental hygiene conditions, did not separate the toilet from other sources of pollution; the food storage area did not ensure safety and hygiene.
The restaurant violated points A and D, clause 2, article 21, Decree 178/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government. The delegation drew up a record of administrative violations on food safety, and planned to impose a fine of 16 million VND on Dai Duong Seafood Company Limited.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 21, the Delegation also inspected the Nguyen Manh Thieu confectionery production household, located at 264 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Vinh City, and discovered that the production household did not comply with the regulations on food preservation, food additives, and food processing aids announced by the manufacturer. The Delegation plans to impose a fine of VND4 million on this confectionery production household./.
