Launching a competition to learn about traffic safety laws.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 5th, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee organized the launching ceremony for the online "Understanding Traffic Safety Laws" competition on the electronic information portal in 2016.
Attending the launching ceremony were Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and a large number of youth union members.

The competition aims to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of traffic safety education for the people in the area, especially students; to raise awareness and encourage voluntary compliance with traffic safety laws, and to foster a culture of responsible behavior when participating in traffic.

The competition officially launched on October 5th and lasted for four weeks, open to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals currently living, working, or studying in Nghe An province.
The competition content includes legal regulations when participating in traffic; skills in handling traffic situations, controlling vehicles, mitigating consequences and resolving traffic accidents; culturally appropriate behavior when participating in traffic, complying with the law and promoting traffic safety laws.

Each week, the Organizing Committee will finalize the results once, awarding 16 prizes, including one first prize worth 2 million VND and a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the end of the competition, there will be two team prizes: one for the unit with the most total prizes, and one for the unit with the most participants and the highest quality entries over the four weeks of the competition. Each team prize will include a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a cash prize of 3 million VND.
