Launching a contest to learn about the 70-year tradition of the Traffic Police force

On November 9, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security organized a contest "Learning about 70 years of building, fighting and growing of the Traffic Police force" in the People's Public Security force.

The contest is a practical activity to widely propagate and educate the police officers and soldiers as well as the people about the 70-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of the traffic police force. Thereby, it arouses pride, encourages and motivates the police officers and soldiers in general and the traffic police in particular to promote the glorious tradition, actively contribute their strength and intelligence to the work of ensuring traffic safety and social order on roads, railways and inland waterways.

Lieutenant Colonel Do Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department launched the Contest at the People's Police Academy.

The contest is also an opportunity to evaluate and summarize the achievements and limitations and shortcomings in ensuring traffic safety and maintaining social order on traffic routes, contributing to improving work efficiency in the new situation.

Officers, soldiers, students, employees, and citizens serving a limited term in the People's Public Security Forces participating in the contest as individuals or groups will answer 5 questions from the Organizing Committee.

The contest is held for 3 months (November 2015 – January 2016); in which, the preliminary round ends on December 15, 2015.

The excellent entries, after passing the preliminary round at the General Departments, Commands, Departments, Institutes under the Minister, Police Schools, and Public Security of provinces and cities, will be sent to the Organizing Committee of the Ministry of Public Security competition before December 31, 2015 to participate in the final round.
