Launching emulation campaign to celebrate 65 years of Dien Bien Phu historic victory

On the afternoon of March 20, the Nghe An Border Guard Command launched a high-level emulation campaign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2019) towards the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2019). Attending the ceremony were Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard.

At the ceremony, departments, offices, and units agreed to compete with the following basic contents and targets:

100% of cadres and soldiers have strong political will, are absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, the people and the socialist regime, always grasp the situation of the country, the army and the unit, uphold determination, and are ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.

Improve the quality of research, forecasting, and consulting accurately, timely, and effectively. Promote military administrative reform in a practical and grassroots direction.

Raise vigilance, grasp the situation, strictly maintain combat readiness regime, effectively implement border work measures, organize management and firmly protect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, border security and sea areas of the Fatherland in all situations.

Organize the effective implementation of legal documents on borders and agreements between the two sides of the border. Be proactive and play a core role in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, and in search and rescue in border areas.

Actively participate in building and consolidating the grassroots political system, developing the socio-economy and effectively implementing the emulation movements "Border Guards join hands to build new rural areas", "Border Guards join hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" in border areas and in the units' stationed areas.

Promote the emulation movement "Excellent training", ensure 100% training content, time, and number of personnel; check 100% of the content meets requirements, of which 80% or more are good or excellent.
