Launching an emulation campaign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory.
(Baonghean.vn) - The emulation campaign, themed "Training troops, achieving merits, and securing victory," aims to promote the emulation movement for decisive victory in units under the Provincial Border Guard Command.
On the afternoon of March 20th, the Nghe An Border Guard Command launched a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2019) and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2019). Colonel Le Nhu Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, departments, offices, and units pledged to compete with the following basic contents and targets:
100% of officers and soldiers possess firm political resolve, are absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, the people, and the socialist regime, always have a firm grasp of the situation in the country, the army, and their unit, and demonstrate strong determination, ready to accept and fulfill all assigned tasks.
Improve the quality of research, forecasting, and advisory services to ensure accuracy, relevance, timeliness, and effectiveness. Promote military administrative reforms that are practical and closely linked to the grassroots level.
Maintain a high level of vigilance, grasp the situation firmly, strictly uphold combat readiness, effectively implement border defense measures, and organize the management and protection of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, border security, and maritime areas of the Fatherland in all situations.

Effectively implement legal documents on borders and agreements between the two sides of the border. Proactively and effectively play a core role in preventing, mitigating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, and in search and rescue operations in border areas.
Actively participate in building and strengthening the grassroots political system, developing socio-economic conditions, and effectively implementing emulation movements such as "Border Guards joining hands to build new rural areas" and "Border Guards joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" in border areas and within the unit's deployment location.
Promote the "Excellent Training" emulation movement, ensuring 100% of the content, time, and personnel are covered in training; 100% of the content is tested and meets requirements, with 80% or more achieving good or excellent results.
