A fake pain reliever and fever reducer was discovered.

The real Dianfagic fever-reducing medicine hard capsule has one end light blue, one end dark blue, while the fake one is yellow.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just sent an urgent dispatch to the Department of Health of provinces, cities and hospitals to notify about the discovery of fake Dianfagic pain reliever and fever reducer.

This incident was discovered thanks to the test results of the Central Institute for Drug Testing on a sample of a drug called Dianfagic taken by the Ben Tre Provincial Testing Center at pharmacy counter 334, Thanh Ngai commune, Mo Cay district.

When testing and discovering fake drugs, the Central Institute for Drug Control reported to the Drug Administration to widely warn the community.

This fake medicine has some different characteristics from the real medicine produced by Minh Hai Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Specifically, the real Dianfagic medicine is contained in a clear and shiny plastic bottle, while the fake medicine is contained in an opaque plastic bottle. The hard capsule of the real medicine has one end light blue, one end dark blue, while the fake medicine is yellow.

The Drug Administration has requested the Department of Health of provinces and cities to notify people to avoid using this fake drug./.
