A body was discovered in an irrigation canal.
(Baonghean.vn) - While working in the fields, local residents discovered a body floating in an irrigation canal in Nam Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district).
Accordingly, at around 6 PM on June 3rd, residents of Nam Thanh commune returning from working in the fields discovered a body floating in the irrigation canal section passing through Dang Luu hamlet (Nam Thanh commune, district).Yen Thanh.
According to local residents, the body may have drifted from the main canal (Do Luong canal) down to a smaller canal in the commune.

Mr. Hoang Van Sam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, said that after receiving the information, the People's Committee of the commune quickly dispatched functional forces to the scene.
Initial verification indicates the victim is a female from Yen Son commune, Do Luong district. The case is currently under investigation.
