Second fisherman's body found in Nghe An fishing boat sinking
On the afternoon of March 30, Mr. Cao Xuan Diep - Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District, said that the body of a missing fisherman in the fishing boat incident in Quynh Luu District was discovered drifting to the shore of Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province.
At around 9:30 a.m. the same day, some residents of Cuong Gian commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province discovered a body floating ashore, in an advanced stage of decomposition.
Immediately afterwards, the incident was reported to local authorities, Cuong Gian Commune Police and Lach Ken Border Guard Station, Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard.
Authorities quickly arrived to protect the scene and verify the identity of the body.

The body was identified as Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (born in 1980, from Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district). Mr. Cuong was the captain who went missing when the fishing boat sank.
Currently, the victim's family has gone to Ha Tinh to bring the body back for burial according to local customs.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 29, the body of Mr. Bui Sy Nhat (born 1977, from Thuan Long commune) was also discovered drifting ashore in Xuan Lien commune, Nghi Xuan district.
The coastal area where Mr. Cuong's body was found is about 2km from where Mr. Nhat's body was found on the afternoon of March 29.
Thus, up to this point, fisherman Le Tuan Anh (born 2005, from Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) has not been found.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of March 18, fishing boat NA 80209-TS, a trawler, sank on its way to Lach Quen, Quynh Thuan Commune, Quynh Luu District. The location of the sinking boat was determined to be about 5-6 nautical miles from Mat Island. There were 4 fishermen on board the sunken fishing boat.
On March 19, fisherman Tran Van Huu (born in 1995, residing in Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) was discovered by a squid fishing boat of Ha Tinh fishermen in a very poor health condition./.
