Second fisherman's body found in Nghe An fishing boat sinking incident.
On the afternoon of March 30th, Mr. Cao Xuan Diep, Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district, announced that another body of a missing fisherman had been found ashore in Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, after a fishing boat from Quynh Luu district was discovered drifting ashore.
At around 9:30 a.m. on the same day, some residents of Cuong Gian commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province discovered a body that had washed ashore and was in an advanced state of decomposition.
Immediately afterwards, the incident was reported to the local authorities, the Cuong Gian Commune Police, and the Lach Ken Border Guard Post, Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard Command.
Authorities quickly arrived to secure the scene and verify the identity of the deceased.

The body has been identified as Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (born in 1980, from Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district). Mr. Cuong was the captain who went missing after his fishing boat sank.
Currently, the victim's family has traveled to Ha Tinh to bring the body back for burial according to local customs.
Earlier, on the afternoon of March 29th, the body of Mr. Bui Sy Nhat (born in 1977, from Thuan Long commune) was also found washed ashore on the beach of Xuan Lien commune, Nghi Xuan district.
The coastal area where Mr. Cuong's body was found is about 2km from the location where Mr. Nhat's body was discovered on the afternoon of March 29th.
Thus, as of now, fisherman Le Tuan Anh (born in 2005, from Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) is still missing.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of March 18th, the fishing vessel NA 80209-TS, engaged in trawling, sank while en route to Lach Quen, Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district. The sinking occurred approximately 5-6 nautical miles from Mat Island. There were four fishermen on board the sunken vessel.
On March 19th, fisherman Tran Van Huu (born in 1995, residing in Van Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) was found in a very weak state by a squid fishing boat from Ha Tinh province.
