Man's body found floating on Giang River
The body of a man wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt was found floating on the Giang River, flowing through Tam Dong commune (Thanh Lien commune, old Thanh Chuong district).
At around 11pm on September 7, fishermen on the Giang River discovered the body of a man floating on the river, about 150 meters downstream from the Chua Market suspension bridge.
The body was lying face down, wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, and appeared to be middle-aged. When discovered, the body was bloated.
Immediately after that, local authorities were present at the scene. This morning (September 8), the body was recovered from the sandbank in Tam Dong commune.
As of the morning of September 8, no relatives had come to claim the body at the scene. Tam Dong Commune Police have notified relatives of the victim.
