Woman's body found buried in abandoned well
Authorities are investigating the cause of death of a woman found buried in a well.
The leader of the People's Committee of Hung Thinh Commune, Tran Yen District, Yen Bai Province said on the morning of April 20 that the authorities are coordinating to investigate and clarify the case of discovering a dead body.under the abandoned well in Yen Binh village.

According to witnesses, the body discovered was that of a woman named H. (residing in Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province). Ms. H. married a man in Yen Binh village. For nearly 2 months, H.'s family has not been able to contact her, and her son-in-law also said he has not seen her.
Ms. H.'s biological mother came from Lai Chau to Yen Bai to look for her child. After being helped by the people of Yen Binh village to dig an abandoned well that had been filled in about 2 months ago, she discovered the body of a woman wrapped in a blanket and in a state of severe decomposition.
The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
