Reporter:Dear comrade! One of the important functions and roles of the Fatherland Front is to gather, build and promote the strength of great national unity, strengthen social consensus, and promote the development of the homeland and the country. How has the Fatherland Front at all levels in Nghe An promoted this role to care for the people's lives?
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh:The practice of revolutionary struggle and construction and development of the country and homeland has proven that: Great national unity is an endless strength, a decisive factor for the victory of the revolutionary cause. This continues to be proven in the practical activities of the Fatherland Front in Nghe An in recent times.
In particular, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, it was necessary to carry out the "dual task" of both developing the economy and preventing natural disasters and epidemics; thanks to the timely and synchronous participation of the entire political system, combined with the creativity, dedication and devotion of the Front cadres at all levels, it created community cohesion and aspiration among the people to rise up together, "sharing the joys and sorrows", "sharing the joys and sorrows" to overcome difficulties and challenges, and defeat the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has proven that the more difficult the situation is, the more creative it is; the more difficult the strength of the great national unity bloc is strengthened and promoted; the more difficult the situation is, the more we appreciate the value of the two words "solidarity", "comradely love, and compatriotic affection".
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the economy; on the production and business activities of enterprises; on employment and income of people. Despite many general difficulties, the results of calling for and mobilizing social resources through the system of the Fatherland Front at all levels of Nghe An province in the past term reached nearly 5,625.5 billion VND.
In particular, implementing Directive 21 of the Provincial Party Committee on calling for and mobilizing support for housing construction for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the province, in just 1 year, the whole province has completed 8,626 houses; bringing the total number of poor households and households with housing difficulties who have been able to move into new houses in 5 years to 13,385 houses (reaching 267.7%) compared to the target for the 2019 - 2024 term, becoming a miracle, assessed by the congress as "the term of settling down and working", helping poor households quickly stabilize their lives, focus on work, production, increase income, and gradually escape poverty. These are telling numbers, demonstrating the tradition of the people of Nghe An "that through hardship, we understand each other"; demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", the responsibility of provinces and cities across the country towards Uncle Ho's homeland and expressing the feelings of those who always love Nghe An unconditionally; is the result of the people's hearts, the people's trust in the Party and the State, demonstrating the strength of the great national unity bloc and the timely and synchronous participation of the entire political system.

Many social security activities have also been effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels in Nghe An on the basis of gathering and promoting the strength of national solidarity. Typically, the annual program "Tet for the poor" has mobilized quite a large amount of resources, ensuring that 100% of poor and near-poor households in the province have Tet. The activity of building the Fund for the Poor has received attention from the whole society, contributing resources to support the poor, people in difficult circumstances and vulnerable people in society.
In the last 5 years (2019 - 2024), from the mobilized Fund for the Poor, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has supported livelihoods for 1,878 poor households; supported means of production for 7,851 poor households; 12,944 poor people received support for medical examination and treatment; 42,497 students received support for their studies; supported thousands of households to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, restore damaged civil works, etc.
Reporter:Dear comrade, along with promoting the strength of national solidarity to care for the lives of the poor, the disadvantaged and the disadvantaged in the province, the Fatherland Front at all levels has also implemented movements and campaigns that have brought about practical results. Could you share more specifically about this content?
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh:In recent times, from the highlands, border areas to the plains, coastal areas, wherever there are difficulties, where there are still poor households, vulnerable groups, where there are natural disasters, epidemics... there are footprints of the "yellow color of the Front" and its member organizations. In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has also strengthened and innovated propaganda work, gathering the great national unity bloc to agree to implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.
The Front at all levels actively participates in propaganda, mobilization, and implementation of "smart mass mobilization" models together with the political system, creating consensus among the people in site clearance to carry out works and investment projects in the area.
The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front was creatively implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels in Nghe An, promoting the role of the Front Working Committee together with the Executive Committees of blocks, hamlets, villages, and residential areas "going to every alley, to every house" tirelessly and diligently to propagate, mobilize, create the strength of solidarity, joint efforts, and unanimity of the people to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
The result of the tireless contributions of the Front cadres at all levels is the complete change in the appearance of districts, cities and towns in the province in all aspects of socio-economics, national defense and security; contributing together with the Party Committee and the government, overcoming difficulties and challenges, persevering, accelerating breakthroughs and continuing to innovate and develop. Regarding the results of new rural construction, up to now, the whole province has 319/411 communes meeting new rural standards; of which 83 communes meet advanced new rural standards and 12 communes meet model new rural standards.
Reporter:Currently, the country and Nghe An are demanding higher, faster and more sustainable development. To continue to better fulfill the role of gathering and promoting the strength of national solidarity, contributing to the common development of the homeland and the country, how are the Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the province clearly defining their responsibilities in this "story", comrade?
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh:Solidarity is an extremely valuable tradition and lesson of our nation, forged through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country. Throughout the process of leading the revolution, our Party has always identified "solidarity" as the core value and "great national unity" as the strategic line, the source of strength and the main driving force of the Vietnamese revolution. That is also the consistent and consistent ideology in the theoretical thinking and practical activities of President Ho Chi Minh.
According to Him, one of the decisive factors for the success of the revolution is the unity of the entire people, the solidarity of "all people as one" under the leadership of the Party. In particular, the call of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: "Proactively call, support from the front; call once, respond with all; unanimity from top to bottom; clear communication across the board" has become the luggage for each of us in every gesture, work and action. With the extremely sincere, simple but profound message of "5 truths" of Comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029: "Think truthfully, speak truthfully, do truthfully, get real results and the people benefit truly", will always be the "compass" for each Front cadre to carry out in the new term, going from thinking to action, all for the people.
Therefore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels - the symbol of the great national unity bloc, continues to clearly identify its "core" responsibility as a trustworthy "bridge", connecting the "blood" relationship between the Party, the State and the people; join hands and hearts with the Party and the State to maximize internal strength, take advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, and strive to successfully implement the goals and targets of the Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term and Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo for Nghe An, and carry out the advice of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "Must step strongly, go far / Nghe An like that is Nghe An". To do this, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province clearly identified the number 1 priority task as continuing to promote and innovate propaganda, mobilization, and gathering work, associated with organizing practical movements and campaigns, creating high consensus in society to join hands and work together.
