Under the influence of crystal meth, two individuals were transporting smuggled fireworks for sale.
Of the two individuals recently arrested by the Quang Binh Provincial Police, one is from Nghe An province and was found in possession of methamphetamine.
The two suspects arrested were Nguyen Tan Phuc (27 years old, from Quang Ngai province) and Vo Van Can (29 years old, from Nghe An province).

At approximately 3 PM on January 11th, on National Highway 1A, in Gia Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, a traffic police patrol team spotted a passenger car with license plate 82A-027.23 traveling at high speed in the North-South direction.
Authorities stopped the vehicle for an administrative check and discovered it was carrying fireworks of unknown origin. In addition to 151 boxes of fireworks, weighing 240kg, traffic police in Quang Binh province also found a package of methamphetamine in the suspect Can's jacket pocket.
Initially, Can and Phuc confessed to driving under the influence of drugs while transporting the fireworks for sale.

Authorities in Quang Binh province have drawn up a report and handed over the suspect and evidence to the Quang Ninh District Police, Quang Binh province, for further investigation.
