The business registration fee will be reduced to 100,000 VND.

The proposed fee for registering a new business is 100,000 VND per registration. Additionally, the fee for providing business information is also expected to be reduced to 4.5 million VND.

The Ministry of Finance has recently sent to relevant agencies for comments a draft Circular amending regulations on the rates, collection and payment procedures, management and use of fees for providing business information and business registration fees.

This proposal suggests reducing the registration fee for establishing a business, changing registration details, and issuing a business registration certificate from 200,000 VND to 100,000 VND per instance; and reducing the fee for providing business information via account from 125 copies/month or more to 4.5 million VND/month. The previous rate was 5 million VND/month.

The Ministry of Finance stated that the reason for this adjustment is in accordance with Government Resolution No. 75/NQ-CP on costs related to businesses. The Government directed the Ministry of Finance to coordinate with agencies providing public services to standardize fee levels.

Circular 215/2016/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance stipulates various fees and charges for businesses. Accordingly, the fee for registering a new business, changing registration details, or reissuing a business registration certificate is 200,000 VND per instance. The fee for issuing, reissuing, or changing the details of a business registration certificate for a branch, representative office, or business location is 100,000 VND per application.

The fee for providing information on business registration certificates, branch/representative office operating certificates, and business location certificates is 20,000 VND per copy. The fee for providing information in registration dossiers and financial reports for various types of businesses is 40,000 VND per copy.

The fee for providing a comprehensive business report is 150,000 VND per report. The fee for publishing business registration information is 300,000 VND per publication. The fee for providing business information via account for 125 copies or more per month is 5 million VND per month.
