(Baonghean.vn) - Midfielder Do Hung Dung had to train separately with the doctor during the afternoon training session on December 4th, putting coach Park Hang-seo at risk of losing two important players before the second leg of the 2018 AFF Cup semi-final against the Philippines.
During this afternoon's training session, midfielder Do Hung Dung appeared sluggish. He was then unable to join his teammates for the warm-up, instead walking around the field with the medical staff. According to the Vietnamese national team's coaching staff, Hung Dung suffered a muscle strain after the away win against the Philippines in the first leg of the 2018 AFF Cup semi-final.
It remains unclear whether Hung Dung will be able to recover in time for the return match at My Dinh Stadium on December 6th. The absence of Hung Dung would be a major loss for the Vietnamese national team.
Besides midfielder Hung Dung, coach Park Hang-seo is also unlikely to be able to use Van Toan in the upcoming match against the Philippines. The HAGL striker did not appear on the field with the Vietnamese national team during this afternoon's training session.
The Vietnamese national team's training session began at 4:30 PM. Coach Park Hang-seo had the starting players warm up separately with light physical exercises. Meanwhile, Van Quyet, Xuan Truong, and the reserve players practiced getting used to the feel of the ball.

(Baonghean.vn) - Not a prodigious center forward like Anh Duc, not a world-class free-kick taker like Quang Hai, and not possessing the child prodigy image of Cong Phuong or Van Quyen, but Phan Van Duc has the rare qualities of a great player. Through his own ability and ambition, Phan Van Duc has won over even the most demanding fans.
