Old Man sets a trap to kill Black Gang
Immediately after regaining consciousness at the hospital, Lao Cong instructed Mai to destroy all dangerous documents because he knew the police were about to launch a raid. At the same time, he asserted that he had found the mole within the Hoa Cong organization to be Cuong Den. This suspicion stemmed from Lan's call to Cuong's phone at a particularly sensitive time.
Old Man Cong tasked Cung with setting a trap to assassinate Black Cuong right at the mansion. However, Mai cleverly noticed something amiss and pretended to fall to signal Cuong to escape. Despite being shot in the shoulder and having difficulty jumping into the lake to escape, Black Cuong was fortunate enough to be rescued in time by Huan.

Despite the disruption to the transportation route caused by Lao Gong's awakening, Lan remained determined to carry out her "final heist." She wanted to accumulate enough money to flee abroad, leaving her past behind to live a peaceful life. However, Cuong Den completely distrusted her promises.

Tan proposed immediately prosecuting and arresting the entire network of Hoa Cong's accomplices to prevent the destruction of documents. In the final scenes of the episode, Mai, while out alone, inadvertently falls into the ape's trap. The unexpected encounter in the parking garage puts Mai in an extremely dangerous situation with little chance of escaping.
