The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the Provincial Women's Union.

On the morning of March 8th, International Women's Day, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – led a delegation to congratulate the Provincial Women's Union. Accompanying the delegation were representatives from various departments of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, and others.

Sending best wishes to the entire Women's Union on this special occasion, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the achievements the Union has made in the past time, such as caring for women's lives and promoting gender equality.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his wish that the Association would continue to play its role in caring for the lives of its members, especially in the work of preventing human trafficking and domestic violence.

Thanking the delegation, Ms. Le Thi Tam, President of the Provincial Women's Union, said that because this year is an odd-numbered year, in accordance with the province's directive, the Union will not organize a celebration of International Women's Day. Regarding the directives of the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Le Thi Tam said that these are also key tasks outlined in the Resolution of the Provincial Women's Congress for the 2016-2021 term, and women's unions at all levels will focus on promoting their implementation in the coming time.
