Truong Bon became the fire coordinate in the escalating bombing raids of the US empire on the North of our country in order to cut off the traffic artery for transporting human and material resources to support the battlefield in the South.
This place has become a sacred land, a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism. The place bears the footprints of hundreds of thousands of young men who fought their way across Truong Son to save the country; young men and women in their eighteens and twenties faced danger, war and bullets with optimism, a desire to live and responsibility to the country.
