Nghe An University of Economics is a public university, directly under the People's Committee of Nghe An province and subject to the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training; it was established in 2014, based on the upgrading of Nghe An College of Economics and Technology.

By 2035, Nghe An University of Economics aims to be a high-quality institution focused on application-oriented training, scientific research, and technology transfer, and to be ranked among the prestigious universities in the ASEAN region.

Expressing joy and excitement at meeting the school's faculty, staff, and employees, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee warmly congratulated the school on Vietnamese Teachers' Day; wishing the school excellent performance in its professional duties and early achievement of its goals according to the development direction set forth.

Affirming that the provincial leadership and all levels and sectors in Nghe An province highly appreciate the role of Nghe An University of Economics, Mr. Nguyen Van Thong expressed his delight at the school's growth over the past 10 years since being upgraded to a university.

Sharing the school's development vision, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong expressed his confidence and emphasized that this ambitious development will create momentum for the school to grow even stronger.

The comrade stated: The Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee have held many meetings recently to discuss the education and training sector of the province, paying particular attention to the role of higher education institutions; in particular, they support and encourage the Nghe An University of Economics to become the University of Nghe An.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that the current leadership, faculty, and staff of the school will fulfill their roles and responsibilities to successfully undertake and carry out this very challenging task.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the leaders of Nghe An province have always supported and resolved difficulties and obstacles related to mechanisms for the school.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong affirmed: The Provincial Party Committee places great hope in the school in its efforts to achieve the goal set by the 19th Provincial Party Congress: training human resources to meet the economic and social development needs of the province and the North Central region.

Therefore, the comrade suggested that the school continue to pay attention to and effectively implement all aspects of its work, especially the three major areas of task: improving the quality of lecturers in terms of competence, qualifications, skills, and methods; curriculum development; and school administration.

Next, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Thong, and the delegation visited and offered congratulations at Vinh Medical University.

This is a public higher education institution, directly under the People's Committee of Nghe An province; it is subject to the state management of education by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the professional management of the Ministry of Health.

The school has developed and implemented over 20 continuing education programs, meeting the needs of healthcare facilities in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

Speaking on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Thong, shared that the image and role of teachers are always highly valued by society, and teachers who are involved in caring for the health of the people, like the teachers of Vinh Medical University, have an even more special role and image in the consciousness and feelings of everyone.

After observing and understanding the school's activities, the comrade expressed joy at witnessing its remarkable growth; at the same time, he commended, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the school's contributions to the cause of protecting and caring for the people's health.

Looking ahead, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Thong, hopes that the lecturers, staff, and employees of the school will continue to strive even harder, upholding the traditions and building upon the achievements already made, to further cultivate and improve their capabilities, qualifications, skills, and methods, while also effectively fulfilling their training nhiệm vụ.

He expressed his wish that the school's leadership team should be highly dynamic, open-minded, diligent, and decisive in finding solutions to quickly expand its capacity and scale, affirming its position in training human resources to provide healthcare for the people of Nghe An and the region.

"This is also a great aspiration of the provincial leadership," the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee urged; at the same time, he requested the school's leadership, departments, wards, and affiliated hospitals to promote the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and collaboration to create collective strength, in order to fulfill the role and mission of a training institution in the field of medicine.

At the same time, attention should be paid to ensuring the working, research, teaching, and development conditions of Vinh University Medical Center Hospital are commensurate with the requirements and tasks set forth.
