The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee extends Christmas greetings at St. Anthony's Shrine.
(Baonghean.vn) - Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished the priests and all parishioners a peaceful Christmas season and expressed his hope that through concrete actions, the priests, religious leaders, and officials working at the St. Anthony Shrine and the parishioners would make further contributions to the development of society.
On December 21st, a delegation from the province, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended Christmas greetings at the St. Anthony Shrine - the Vinh Diocese pilgrimage center in Nghi Phuong commune (Nghi Loc district).
Accompanying them were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Ho Phuc Hop - Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department; Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Department; Le Hong Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Provincial Police Department, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies and leaders of Nghi Loc district.

Here, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers and happily informed the priests, dignitaries, and officials on duty at the St. Anthony Shrine about some of the province's socio-economic development achievements.
Over the past year, the province as a whole has seen many positive changes in all aspects of life, with an increase in average income, improved social welfare, and increased support for policy beneficiaries and the poor. These results are largely due to the significant contributions of Catholic parishioners throughout the province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong wished the priests, religious leaders, and parishioners good health, a peaceful Christmas season, and abundant blessings from God. He also expressed the hope that the priests, religious leaders, and parishioners would continue to care for the spiritual lives of the parishioners through concrete actions, making further contributions to the development of society.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also expressed his hope that the spirit of solidarity and mutual support would be further strengthened by the Management Board of the Antonian Shrine, creating conditions for the Catholic community to play a role in socio-economic development and build a prosperous and happy life.
Father Nguyen Van Hieu, Head of the Management Board of St. Anthony's Shrine and Parish Priest of Trai Gao, expressed his gratitude and emotion at the attention shown by the provincial leaders. He also stated that he would encourage parishioners to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and contribute to building a new rural area, making their homeland increasingly prosperous and beautiful.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee announced the document approving the establishment of Trai Gao Parish in Nghi Phuong commune (Nghi Loc district).
