Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh extends New Year greetings to agencies and units.
On the morning of February 13th, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation – visited and extended New Year greetings to the staff and employees of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Nghe An Electricity Company.
Accompanying them were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Ngoc Kim Nam – Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Dinh Hung – Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and representatives of the leaders of departments, agencies, Thanh Vinh and Truong Vinh wards.
Extending New Year greetings to the collective of officials, employees, and workers of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh emphasized that 2025 is a special year with important decisions and strategically significant milestones, and also a year in which the province suffered heavy damage from storms and floods. Despite this, the province's socio-economic development still achieved many important accomplishments.
These overall achievements are due in large part to the positive contributions of the Nghệ An Newspaper and Radio and Television Broadcasting team.
The comrade particularly emphasized that during the fierce storms of typhoons No. 3, No. 5, and No. 10, reporters from Nghe An Newspaper and radio and television were present in the heart of the storms and floods, promptly reflecting the situation, conveying the province's directives and management, and spreading the spirit of mutual support and compassion. The image of reporters working in the rain and wind is a vivid symbol of the resilience of revolutionary journalism – not shying away from difficulties, not standing idly by.
Alongside its propaganda duties, Nghe An's newspapers, radio, and television stations actively spread the spirit of compassion through social welfare activities: donating over 115 million VND to people affected by the storm; coordinating support of hundreds of millions of VND for people in flood-affected areas of western Nghe An; participating in programs to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses… Particularly noteworthy is the "Nghia Tinh Dong Lam" program, which mobilized the highest amount of resources ever to provide Tet (Lunar New Year) support for the poor.
He also highly appreciated that, after the merger, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television continued to maintain its top position among local media agencies in terms of both professional expertise and digital transformation.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that, in the context of rapidly developing digital media, increasingly high public demands, and more comprehensive tasks, Nghe An's newspapers, radio, and television need to continue to make strong breakthroughs, innovate thinking and journalistic methods; improve the quality, depth, and humanistic aspects of content; apply digital technology to facilitate two-way interaction between viewers and listeners, strengthen the role of guidance and constructive criticism; develop multi-platform products; and build a professional, capable team of journalists who master technology and adapt flexibly to new trends.
First and foremost, it is necessary to focus on disseminating the Party's resolutions into practice; promoting the election of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and especially proactively and attentively promoting election campaigning to ensure fairness and equality among candidates.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that, with a tradition of unity, a spirit of creativity and aspiration for progress, with the unified leadership of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, and the efforts of the entire staff, reporters, and workers, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television will continue to affirm its role as a fast, sharp, and official information channel, a reliable bridge between the Party Committee, the government, and the people; a flame that ignites faith, encourages action, and inspires the aspiration for the development of Nghe An into an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.
Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television - expressed gratitude for the affection, attention, and encouraging assessment of the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation, and seriously accepted the suggestions for Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television in the coming time, especially the key areas in the unit's propaganda work.
Specifically, the focus will be on innovating the content and presentation style across all four types of media, meeting the increasingly demanding political tasks and the information needs of viewers, listeners, and readers both within and outside the province.
Also this morning, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the staff, officials, and workers of Nghe An Power Company.
According to Mr. Pham Cong Thanh, Director of Nghe An Power Company, the power sector is currently striving to provide stable electricity to the people during Tet (Lunar New Year) and intensifying propaganda to encourage safe electricity use. In addition, they are implementing 24/7 on-call duty during Tet to promptly handle any incidents that may occur.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh emphasized that in 2025, overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, Nghe An Power Company made efforts to ensure stable, safe, and continuous electricity supply to serve production, business, and people's lives; proactively responding to and promptly overcoming incidents caused by natural disasters, rain, and storms.
The comrade also acknowledged and expressed gratitude to the hardworking electricians who promptly arrived at critical points during the storms; quickly resolving post-disaster problems to keep electricity flowing to every home and factory… becoming a beautiful symbol of responsibility, discipline, and dedication to the community.
Entering 2026, with the province's development requirements becoming increasingly demanding and electricity needs continuing to rise, the comrade expressed his wish for Nghe An Power Company to continue innovating its management, improving its technical capacity, ensuring absolute safety in labor and production; promoting the application of technology and digital transformation, aiming towards a modern, transparent power industry that better serves the people and businesses; and continuing to maintain its role as a "source of energy," making a significant contribution to the province's rapid and sustainable development goals.
