Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi attended the Conference on the Implementation of Tasks for 2026 in Van Du Commune.
On the morning of December 30th, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – attended the Party Badge Award Ceremony and the Conference summarizing Party building work in 2025 and implementing tasks for 2026 at the Van Du Commune Party Committee.

2025 marks the first year of implementing the two-tiered local government model, and Van Du commune successfully held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Despite facing numerous difficulties due to natural disasters (typhoons No. 5 and No. 10) and African swine fever, the Party Committee and people of Van Du commune strived to achieve comprehensive results.
The commune's growth rate reached 8.94%, with an average per capita income of approximately 67 million VND/year. A highlight is the strong shift towards high-tech agriculture, with 4 greenhouse models for growing TL3 cantaloupe, generating an income of about 900 million VND; and the successful development of 3 OCOP 3-star products (veal sausage, pork sausage, and hot dogs).

Party building and the political system have been firmly consolidated. After the merger, the commune's Party Committee quickly reorganized its structure, admitted 18 new Party members, and completed 100% of the updating of Citizen Identity Card data for Party members. Social welfare work was ensured, the poverty rate decreased to 0.81%; support for the construction and repair of 52 houses for poor households was completed, achieving 100% of the plan.
Delivering a guiding speech at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – acknowledged and praised three bright spots of Van Du commune in the past period, including: the rapid stabilization of the organizational structure; the maintenance of a relatively high economic growth rate based on internal resources; and the careful attention and care given to social welfare work.

The comrade suggested that Van Du commune implement tasks through specific action programs and plans, ensuring the "six clear" principle: clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility, clear output, and clear authority. At the same time, the locality needs to review and strengthen its organizational structure, overcome the shortage of cadres; and assign and arrange cadres according to their professional qualifications, capabilities, and strengths, thereby improving the effectiveness of the grassroots political system.
To create resources for development, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that Van Du commune proactively and effectively apply the resolutions recently passed by the Provincial People's Council; in particular, utilizing the financial mechanism according to the classification of communes in group IV, with a 70% allocation of land use fees for reinvestment in infrastructure development; guiding people to access agricultural support policies for the period 2026-2030 (support for plant seeds, construction of greenhouses and polytunnels, construction costs and evaluation of OCOP products...). At the same time, it is necessary to urgently complete the general planning of the commune and promptly implement support policies for officials and civil servants working at the One-Stop Service Center.

In addition, focus on reviewing the criteria for building advanced new rural areas, especially the criteria of transportation, environment, and culture; promote digital transformation and data digitization; pay attention to strengthening human resources and improving the quality of operation of health stations, striving to sustainably reduce the poverty rate. The locality needs to continue to improve the quality and value of OCOP products.
In preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi requested that the Party Committee and the commune government review eligible individuals and mobilize resources to care for the people during Tet, ensuring that everyone and every family can celebrate the New Year.
At the conference, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi, along with the commune leaders, presented Party badges to veteran Party members in Van Du commune, recognizing their enduring contributions to the revolutionary cause.
