Permanent Vice ChairmanProvincial People's Committee Chairman Bui Thanh An inspects several projects in the Southeast Economic Zone.
On the afternoon of January 8th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a working session and inspected the sites of several key projects in the Southeast Economic Zone, issuing directives that were closely aligned with the actual situation.
The meeting was chaired by Comrade Bui Thanh An, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Attending the working session were leaders of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; representatives from relevant departments and agencies: Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, and the Provincial People's Committee Office; and leaders of the People's Committees of the communes where the projects are being implemented. In addition, representatives from the investing enterprises and other related units were also present.
The working session aimed to conduct on-site inspections, assess progress, and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of social housing projects, thereby promoting investment progress and contributing to meeting social welfare needs and sustainable development of the Southeast Economic Zone.

The social housing project for workers and laborers working in industrial zones within the Southeast Economic Zone, located at site No. 01, Trung Loc commune, has a land area of 3.48 hectares and a population capacity of 1,792 people.
According to the developer's report, the project has currently completed construction on 2 out of 7 buildings (150 out of 483 units); the rough construction is finished on 4 out of 7 buildings (268 out of 483 units); and 1 out of 7 buildings (75 out of 483 units) remains unconstructed.

The social housing project for workers and laborers in the Nam Cam Industrial Park is located at site number 3, Trung Loc commune. According to the investor's report, approximately 6 hectares out of 10.82 hectares have been cleared.
The company is urgently coordinating with the Compensation and Land Clearance Council of Trung Loc Commune People's Committee to complete the land clearance for the entire project so that construction can begin soon and the project can be put into operation.

Regarding the Investment Project for the Construction and Operation of Infrastructure in Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park: The investor submitted an investment proposal, and the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board coordinated with relevant local departments and agencies to gather opinions. On June 18, 2025, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board issued Document No. 45/BC-KKT on the report assessing the proposal for approval of the investment policy for the Investment Project for the Construction and Operation of Infrastructure in Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park; and Document No. 2240/KKT-KHĐT dated November 14, 2025, on explaining and clarifying some contents of the investment policy proposal for the Investment Project for the Construction and Operation of Infrastructure in Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park.

The Tho Loc Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project (Phase 1) is invested by VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. The project's objective is to invest in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure. The project covers an area of 500 hectares, with land clearance progressing to 499.8 hectares out of 500 hectares.

During a direct inspection and on-site supervision of key projects in the Southeast Economic Zone, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An, emphasized the need to accelerate progress, ensure synchronicity, efficiency, and alignment with long-term development orientations.
Regarding the social housing project for workers in the Nam Cam Industrial Park at location No. 3, Trung Loc commune, the provincial leadership requested relevant departments and localities to promptly complete land clearance work, creating favorable conditions for the investor to implement construction according to plan. At the same time, the province aims to attract investors with the capacity, financial resources, and experience to develop a comprehensive social housing area integrated with schools and healthcare facilities, including hospitals, to meet the welfare needs of workers and laborers.
"The firm stance is to select investors with real potential, avoiding the situation of hesitant investment, holding land but delaying implementation," the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Regarding the social housing project for workers in industrial zones within the Southeast Economic Zone at location No. 1, Trung Loc commune, Comrade Bui Thanh An acknowledged and highly appreciated the investor's efforts in implementing construction, ensuring progress, and adhering to the approved plan, contributing to gradually addressing the housing needs of workers in the area.

Regarding the Investment Project for the Construction and Operation of Infrastructure in Zone B of Tho Loc Industrial Park, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to review and clearly identify the drainage system and investment responsibilities, and to review the total investment cost of the transportation routes. Specifically for Dien Phu Kindergarten, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board was tasked with working with the investor to provide monetary compensation, combined with state budget investment to complete the school's renovation, serving both local needs and the requirements of industrial park development.
Regarding Tho Loc Industrial Park (phase 1) in Tan Chau commune, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to continue to cooperate and create the most favorable conditions for the project to be accelerated and to achieve its effectiveness as soon as possible.
